What They Wanted
Stephon and Brittany knew they wanted to consolidate a few underutilized areas in their bedroom to create one master closet that would accommodate their storage needs and complement their style. To help them strategize a precise design plan, the couple called on California Closets Pittsburgh to develop an organizational solution that would optimize the entire master space.
How we did it
California Closets design consultant Jami Goodman worked closely with the couple to understand their individual storage needs. Taking their inventory into account, as well as their preference for a darker finish and bold hardware, Jami came up with a custom design to give the couple just want they wanted. Working around two windows that provided beautiful natural light, Jami’s wall-to-wall closet design featured a vanity area with storage for Brittany, as well as a LED-lit section for Stephon to access and display his large shoe collection. Jami included hanging areas designed in heights to accommodate both Stephon’s and Brittany’s wardrobes, as well as smart features such as a hamper and full-length mirror. The closet’s centerpiece—a large island—featured a locking jewelry drawer for Brittany and even a pullout ironing board for the busy couple.
The closet is BEAUTIFUL! The rich textured finish paired with the matte gold hardware and accessories achieves the sophisticated aesthetic the Tuitts' envisioned.
