What They Wanted
Jill and Chip Cole founded Southern Events in Franklin in 2006 to help Williamson County’s residents elegantly celebrate treasured milestones and special occasions.
The business, which began in the couple’s garage, has grown along with its community and it was time that their showroom reflected the elegance of their event planning offerings. So they turned to California Closets of Tennessee for a custom design.

HOW CALIFORNIA CLOSETS DID IT
Southern Events’ needs were very specific and intentional — they wanted everything on full display.
Their design consultant Adam Edwards worked closely with the couple to understand their vision and goals for the space.
Around the perimeter, Adam designed stacked tiers of hanging rods to hold the extensive collection of linen options while illuminated cabinets display China, barware, and flatware.
A center seating island under a statement chandelier anchors the room and creates an inviting place for planning and collaboration.
California Closets played a pivotal role in the transformation, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

The transformed showroom now beautifully displays Southern Events’ vast collection of entertaining essentials and creates a warm and welcoming space for families and event planners alike.
