How we did it
Design consultant William Sedlar recognized the Rush’s passion for striking design and efficient function. Working to achieve both, he designed a sleek unit in the primary closet to conceal clothes behind woodgrain doors and display shoes on elegant mirror-backed shelves. Textured glass fronts on the center island’s drawers complement its contemporary Chroma countertop, while a small compartment hosts the steamer for accessibility. In the second space, a full mirrored wall showcases purses and shoes, glass-door wardrobes store and protect dresses, and a countertop with drawers and shelving provide space to wrap gifts. If William could light it, he did: both units feature a range of ribbon, puck, strip, and sensor lights, plus specially-designed side lights for the island’s Chroma countertop.
