What He Wanted
For Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing star, CEO, broker, and founder of SERHANT Ryan Serhant, details and precision matter. So when it came to his and his wife’s primary closet, symmetry, style, and space management were at the top of their list.
To transform the blank canvas space into the seamless, hyper-linear closet they envisioned, Ryan turned to California Closets New York’s Debra Russo to create a well-appointed, custom design that would also give off some serious WOW-factor vibes upon entry.
The closet is very long so I dedicated the area directly across from the entry as their formal attire storage with the clear resin doors and Everstyle drawers.
How we did it
Ryan and his wife Emilia scheduled a design consultation with Debra at the Tribeca showroom where the couple perused numerous exclusive finishes, storage options, and lighting details. As Debra’s design scheme began to take shape, she also had to navigate the brownstone’s vintage floors and uneven ceilings —
also considered character qualities in NYC real estate language — while incorporating the couple's custom cabinetry, crown, and base moldings. She also added lighting throughout to enhance the overall design.
In the end this closet was a huge success because the clients trusted us as experts to deliver a luxury product.

Some might say we built this entire house around this closet...some might be right.
Checking wow factor and serious storage off the list, the Serhant’s walk-in closet takes the notion of closet goals to new heights. The stunning, 26-foot-long wrap around closet is a dream come true.
