What She Wanted
Erica Domesek, the creative force and personality behind P.S. I Made This, a DIY lifestyle brand, set out to rethink the storage for her impressive collection of crafting supplies. She wanted a customizable solution that kept absolutely everything — from her colorful paints to go-to glitters — neat and felt like an art supply store she would enjoy “shopping” every day.
This incredible transformation happened during a time when I could give some much-needed love and attention to this space. I wanted to focus on things that brought me joy and said goodbye to the things that were collecting dust and had not been touched in years.
How we did it
To get the job done, Erica collaborated with California Closets Los Angeles design consultant Katharine Mills-Tierney on a solution using The Everyday System™, California Closets’ modular, quick-ship storage solution designed in collaboration with Martha Stewart. To complement her white system, Erica opted for gold metal mesh cabinets to store and display her rainbow of supplies, while soft-close drawers and metal mesh baskets kept smaller accessories tidy and clutter-free.
We played with the different ‘building blocks’ of The Everyday System to come up with a mix of drawers & baskets and open & closed spaces that
would give Erica the flexibility she needed.

The cheerful and newly organized space not only inspires limitless creativity but also helps Erica work efficiently while having fun.
