HOW CALIFORNIA CLOSETS DID IT
Beginning while the home was still being renovated, Preston Mitchell and the California Closets Orange County team launched into in-person and virtual meetings in order to determine the couple’s vision. Function and organization were key, as was infusing both spaces with Ace and Matt’s signature style.
Once a strategy was landed, Preston worked with the couple to select finishes, hardware, and accessories to make the spaces uniquely theirs. Outlets were added to the drawings so an electrician could add them in place prior to installation.
The primary suite’s original walk in closet became Matt’s dressing room, complete with custom shoe storage and a hat rack for his collection. For Ace, she took a space on the other side of the bedroom wall, where a lower ceiling worked perfectly for double-hanging sections. Top cap and puck lighting were added to brighten the space and showcase her eclectic wardrobe.
For that touch of glam, the California Closets custom vanity installed just outside Ace’s closet includes rose-punk bi-focal sconces Harper sourced herself.
