How we did it
To achieve the look she envisioned and the functionality she and her husband desperately needed, Monic worked with California Closets Arizona senior design consultant Robin Gulley. Robin collaborated with the couple on a custom organizational solution that would address their individual needs and would support them both equally. Monic really wanted to be able to beautifully display her purses as well as have greater shoe storage, including taller areas for her boots. Chris needed more height for his hanging items, along with dedicated areas for t-shirts and shoes. Designing with the couple throughout the process, Robin incorporated a mix of slated and straight shoe shelves, cubbies, larger shelves, and even a bank of drawers with a countertop area for Monic to give the couple the space they needed for everything. Last but not least, Robin added a hamper so the couple could keep any mess to a minimum.
final result
This was such a collaborative project from the start. They really loved how we transitioned the corner area between the shoe wall and the drawer unit on the back wall to give the space an improved flow.

The reimagined master closet design gives the couple more room to store, showcase, and appreciate what they have. For Monic, she can finally walk into a space that inspires her, making her new house really feel like a home.
