What She Wanted
As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of the stationery and lifestyle brand Rifle Paper Co., Anna Bond captures beauty and whimsy in her signature illustrations, ranging from romantic botanicals to festive celebrations. Her recent home renovation gave Anna a fresh new canvas and for her master closet, Anna chose California Closets Orlando to help her achieve her dream space. Working closely with local design consultant Carolina Beier, Anna wanted to optimize a light-filled space for a functional his and hers walk-in closet that, while practical, still reflected the sophisticated style throughout the rest of the home.
I admired Anna's vision and was thrilled to provide a design that she and her husband will enjoy for years to come.
How we did it
The closet in Anna’s previous home was quite small and required her to keep her wardrobe in several closets, as well as on portable racks. For her new master closet, Anna envisioned an accessible and thoughtfully-designed space that she could also very comfortably share with her husband and his wardrobe. In addition to smart storage for clothing and display shelving for Anna’s pretty accessories, Carolina also kept aesthetics in mind and found a way to design around the room’s prominent angled wall and three windows overlooking the garden, which together provided a stunning entry focal point and inviting natural light.

I loved working with California Closets to design our dream closet! It is not only beautiful and fits the design of our home perfectly, but is is also incredibly functional. There are so many amazing details such as hidden laundry baskets, a pull out mirror, valet rod and a home for every accessory.
Anna and her husband now share an elegant and spacious walk-in closet just off their master suite where they can both keep their entire wardrobes.
