California Closets Indianapolis – Giving Back

The team at California Closets Indianapolis takes pride in supporting the communities where its team members work and live. Throughout the years, the team has worked with a number of area charities, including the Julian Center Art Therapy Room Build Out, Habitat for Humanity, Gleaners, FHL Communities, Danny’s Closet and Soles 4 Soles. California Closets Indianapolis has also contributed to a number of silent auctions for organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Children’s Bureau and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Along with the contributions to their community listed above, this team has also partnered with Dress for Success®, an organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help them thrive in work and life.

The Indianapolis team accepts in-kind donations of professional clothing from its clients to donate to local Dress for Success affiliates, and they also design, produce and install special closets for local Dress for Success boutiques.

Because the process of upgrading a closet space comes with the purging of old and unworn items, this natural partnership aims to provide the employees and clients of California Closets Indianapolis with a sense of meaningful community involvement.
