The VR tool will help our designers and clients collaborate better to craft custom projects, laying out the exact specifications of a client’s space.
As mentioned in our feature on Builder Online, we’re thrilled to announce that our Indianapolis franchise is introducing a new virtual reality (VR) experience for clients. First debuted this month at the DesignBuild trade show in Cincinnati, the technology will offer a new and more personalized way for our clients to ‘step inside’ and envision design projects in their home. Following the show, the VR technology will be accessible to customers in our Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati showrooms.
VR Launch a Part of Our Ongoing Dedication to Our Clients’ Experience
Our VR experience is fresh off the momentum of many ongoing developments from our brand to enrich the customer experience, including a reimagined website, updated proprietary CAD technology, a new showroom 2.0 model, and a new brand magazine.
Leveraging technology is another way for us to elevate our services to our clients. At California Closets, we have a passion for design, and technology like this allows us to deliver on these core values. This new service will allow our clients to interact and understand the design process. Through the VR technology, our clients can see a vision of what their space would look like, enhancing their experience.
VR in the Design World
Marcus Hall, our VP of Marketing and Sales at our Carmel franchise, shares his excitement, “virtual reality is an emerging service in the design and building world, making waves in areas of real estate and kitchen renovations. PulteGroup launched a VR initiative last month in Atlanta that allows millennials to see their new space before it’s built, and Toll Brothers announced this past July it’s ‘pilot[ing] a new tool to allow homebuyers to use virtual reality to envision design selections in their homes, and make changes that reflect their preferences.’”
